Terms of Service

1. Services

GM SEO Services provides SEO consultancy and implementation services to businesses as agreed in writing prior to commencement. Services are described in the proposal or statement of work provided to each client. The scope of work is confirmed before payment is taken.

2. Payment

Monthly retainer fees are invoiced at the start of each billing month. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date. One-off project fees are invoiced on agreement and due before work begins unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may result in work being paused until the outstanding amount is settled.

3. Cancellation

Monthly retainer clients may cancel with 30 days written notice via email to contact@gm-seo-services.com. Notice takes effect from the date it is acknowledged in writing by GM SEO Services. No refunds are given for the current billing month. There are no early termination fees.

4. Client Obligations

• Provide access to Google Analytics, Search Console, and website as required.
• Review and approve recommended on-site changes within a reasonable timeframe.
• Inform us of any changes to business operations, website platforms, or domain names in advance.
• Respond to requests for information within 5 business days where possible.

5. Results and Guarantees

SEO results depend on many factors outside our control, including Google algorithm changes, competitor activity, and client-side implementation. We do not guarantee specific ranking positions or traffic levels. We do guarantee that all work will be delivered to a professional standard using ethical, white-hat techniques.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, reports, and materials produced by GM SEO Services become the property of the client upon full payment. Access to third-party tools used during the engagement (Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.) remains the property of those providers and cannot be transferred.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat commercially sensitive information shared during the engagement as confidential and not to disclose it to third parties without written consent. This obligation survives termination of the working relationship.

8. Limitation of Liability

GM SEO Services' liability under any engagement is limited to the total fees paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for loss of revenue, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential losses arising from SEO work performed in good faith.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. Any disputes will be resolved under Scottish law.
